In the summer, San Francisco has consistent force 5-7 winds but the Bay remains relatively flat. I fortunately have the opportunity to sail beautiful San Francisco Bay with you as captain of the bristol sailing yacht Grass Roots Roost II. About Captain Craig:
Born in The Bay Area, Captain Craig is an enthusiastic, fun loving, competent licensed captain. He currently holds a 100 ton US Coast Guard Master license, and is a ASA certified instructor. Craig has sailed extensively along Northern and Central America, the Mediterranean and has been cruising the Caribbean during the winter months for the past five years. Craig owned two successful and popular clubs in the Santa Cruz area before following his sailing dream. He is a people person who can make anyone from 1 to 100 feel comfortable. Craig's confident, relaxed style makes him the perfect charter boat captain.
About Grass Roots Roost II:
 Grass Roots Roost II is a late model Catalina 470 that was designed with people in mind. Built to sail the world in ease, her spacious cockpit, dodger and bimini provides a dry safe, comfortable environment to enjoy sailing the San Francisco Bay. Below deck there are two staterooms, two heads, two showers, leather covered salon seating, reclining captain's chairs, refrigerator and freezer, a full service galley, hot water and the latest in marine electronics.
